17. April 2018 – 18. April 2018
The global energy transition is irreversible: new record levels of innovation and investment in renewable energies and energy efficiency are being seen every year. The forecasts differ only in terms of the speed and manner of the change. How, and how fast, are block chains, virtual power plants and smart business ideas changing energy markets? Does the future belong to electric mobility and synthetic fuels? What instruments are available for the energy sector to implement the Paris Climate Agreement?
The German Federal Government will host the 4th Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue in Berlin 17-18 April to discuss these and other questions regarding the global energy transition. It is essential to shape the energy transition to trigger innovation and investment in clean, sustainable and affordable technologies.
A whole week of energy transition issues will electrify Berlin in April: latest trends, multilateral agreements and promising business models will be presented and discussed. At the conference, participants will have the opportunity to network with high-ranking decision-makers from the political world, business, science and civil society during the many side events and the spectacular evening event. More information can be found on the conference website.
