Kurt Van Dender is a Senior Tax Economist in the Tax Policy and Statistics Division, where he leads the team working on “Tax and the Environment”. Earlier, he was the Chief Economist of the International Transport Forum, and a Professor of Economics at the University of California at Irvine. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Leuven in Belgium.
